Our Clinic Story

The clinic was founded in 2022 by Jenna Berendzen and Noelle Else.
Their shared vision was to create a place where people felt seen and heard.
A place where true healing and wellness could occur with the help of a team of caring nurses, clinicians, and administrative staff.
The nightingale is a bird that sings in the darkness.
Florence Nightingale, "the lady of the lamp" was the founder of modern nursing.
Both symbols have meaning for our clinical director, who is proud to be a "nurse-doctor",
a name given to by her kids.
Many years ago,, when Jenna was living oversees feeling sad and homesick, her mother sent her a card with a message that read, "Your song may be a sad and lonely one, but remember it's still music." Such a beautiful reminder.
During another dark time in her life, a loved one said to her , "I know it feels dark and scary right now, but I am carrying the light for you'" A poignant and hope-filled message. Life is hard.
We all will go through times of darkness, of loss, of grief, of pain.
Here at The Nightingale Center, We will carry the light for you.
