Our vision is to have a place where people feel seen and heard.

A place where true healing and wellness can occur

The meaning behind our name.

The nightingale is a bird that sings in the darkness.

Florence Nightingale, "the lady of the lamp" was the founder of modern nursing.

Both symbols have meaning for our Jenna, our clinical director, who is proud to be a "nurse-doctor",

a name given to by her kids.

Many years ago, when Jenna was living oversees feeling sad and homesick, her mother sent her a card with a message that read, "Your song may be a sad and lonely one, but remember it's still music."

During another dark time  in her life, a loved one said to her , "I know it feels dark and scary right now, but I am carrying the light for you'" .

We all will go through times of darkness, of loss, of grief, of pain.

Here at The Nightingale Center, We will carry the light for you.
